It all begins with determination.

In 2019 I had decided to start making my own holiday decorations with items I had around the house. Friends and family had received my creations as gifts and they were loved! Over the course of the year I started working with fabric, making gnomes, and I accumulated a lot of fabric scraps! Not wanting to throw any of it away, I searched the internet for things to make with scrap fabric… and it was then that I realized I could make quilts!

Growing up not far from Lancaster, PA, I had quite an exposure to quilts. My mother had a love for the Amish quilts and through her, I was already keen to the traditional quilts made by the women of Amish and Mennonite culture. I didn’t want to sew by hand so I bought a (small) sewing machine and taught myself how to sew and how to make quilts.

Due to the initial Covid lockdown, I had plenty of time to learn and hone my skills. Since that time, I have made over 50 quilts, table runners, and wall art pieces. My skills continue to grow as I discover new techniques, and invent some of my own.

I hope that my creations will live on in the hearts and homes of those who receive them long after I am gone.

I live in Southern New Jersey with my husband of 20 years, my dog Winston, and my crazy orange tabby, Muggles. We spend a lot of the year in our Minnie Winnie traveling the east coast.
